Matthias and Margarete Janßen found Gartenbau Janßen and start producing vegetables, cut flowers, pot plants and heather plants.

• Start of production of Calluna vulgaris Beauty Ladies®.

Marek Janßen joins the company.

• Taking over the lease from nursery Heyer nearby.
• The company has grown from 3 to 40 employees and from 1,000 to over 35,000m² of greenhouse space. The horticulture now produces on 24 hectares of outdoor container space.

Lavinia Janßen joins the company.
In addition to the future orientation of the staff, the range of products is constantly being expanded, the greenhouse areas are enlarged and the machines and areas are modernised.
Purchase of the Dellen nursery and expansion of the container areas by 40,000m².
In the meantime, the team consists of over 65 permanent employees.
